I joined the Ukrainian book challenge to help highlight Ukrainian authors and true stories of recent life in Ukraine. Informed people are simply better people. It takes courage to relive such moments to pen them but truth must be shared. This is not an easy book to read but it is a necessary book. I chose to highlight this book, The Torture Camp on Paradise Street, because so many people think territory doesn’t mean people. And people left behind means torture.
